Today is my birthday!

I've spent most of the day with my sister, being a divorcee and disenfranchised father, and am now enjoying some Belgian wheat beer, Spanish red wine and later a dram or two of Cardhu will be toasted to my own health.

I'm not really sure what a self thread is so forgive me if I get it wrong.

I'm not really hard done by or anything but I swear every time I put the broom away after sweeping up the leaves, as soon as I walk indoors the trees deliberately chuck more leaves on the garden

I'm going for it.

I'm kind, funny, friendly and attractive to lots of people. I love my family, friends and cat and am fiercely loyal to them. My cheese scones are something to behold and I'm very good at making things.

I have bad points of course but other people are more than happy to point them out.

How's that? Or have I got the wrong end of the stock?
