Dude I love books. I can download all the comics i want but love having the physical thing. I dont use an E-reader for books. Again i prefer physical books. Have a stack of about 5 or 6 that I'm slowly working through. Only finished one cover to cover this year. Naughty nerd.

I'm a big fan of sci-fi films (Bladerunner is my fav). Best sci-fi book I read was 'Childhood's End' by Arthur C. Clarke, or 'War of the World's' by Wells.

As a youngster I was obsessed with playing Dungeons and Dragons, Runequest, and Car Wars, all while listening to heavy metal, so 'double geek'

your imagination

Ummm... Not sure where to start...

Started collecting 2000AD as a teen (Squaxx dek Thargo!).

Devoured every book on mythology and history I could get my mitts on, and as soon as I was old enough started travelling to various museums and archaeological sites around the world.

I own many many dog-eared and much read copies of the works of Tolkien, Pratchett, Eddings, Brooks, Colfer (who I actually know), Rice, Martin and Lewis.

I have the entire Stargate and Supernatural collections on DVD.

I remember lines from Firefly and Serenity better than I do my own family's birthdays

And I still wonder if Thanos ever considered that he himself might not have survived 'the snap'.

I am geek... Hear me snortle!!

I like stuff like the original Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, star trek obviously (next gen being my favourite), farscape. Films like Krull, escape from New York, Big trouble in little China. Comic wise, mostly marvel stuff but mainly west coast avengers, doom patrol etc.

I i think ive mention it a few times , I'm a big fan of world of warcraft (for the Alliance )

I didn't realise that made me a geek

Love Punisher. One the first I started collecting when I was a kid. Had to replace most of it coz my mum threw my box comics out. Thanks to there now being 4 or 5 comic shops near by, I managed to replace a lot of them. Not been keeping up with the new Punisher series but what I read Punisher: War Machine I liked.

Hi...

Yes, I've been a card-carrying purveyor of Geek-chic for almost as far back as I can remember. A science fiction fan since Star Wars/Space 1999 and those weird 'Sci-Fi Seasons' on BBC 2, I now encompass Sci-Fi and Horror fandom with a love of board and video games, a streak of comic reading and a habit of quoting everything from hamlet to Firefly.

Many moons ago I used to run demonstration games at conventions, which meant that I used to hang around with all sorts of amazing actors and artists, but the jewel in my crown was interviewing Douglas Adams for my University newspaper.

They're both good series in different ways. Necroscope is darker, but with a lot of very wacky stuff going on. Prowlers is a little like someone decided to make a Buffyverse version of Necroscope, but focus on Werewolves instead of vampires.

"I love the horror-fantasy stuff ... Dead@17, Hack Slash, TWD, Anita Blake etc. Sexy : )

Have you tried the Necroscope books? Or the Prowlers series?

No, I don't know those. I shall investigate : )

They're both good series in different ways. Necroscope is darker, but with a lot of very wacky stuff going on. Prowlers is a little like someone decided to make a Buffyverse version of Necroscope, but focus on Werewolves instead of vampires."

Dark and Buffy. That's two major boxes ticked for a start

Sadly not the currently in vogue type of comic book/fantasy geekery. For me it's model railways, miniature engineering, electronics, history and historical reenactment. Still not seen as cool but luckily I don't really give a fuck, plus all those things are in fact cool as fuck (just most people are too uncool to realise). I'm am pretty much a 50/50 split of right and left brain. So my model railways both allow my creativity and storytelling to live in perfect supporting harmony with my love of engineering.

Recent geekery;

Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (interesting but not wthout flaws).

Red Dwarf seasons 11 and 12 - much better than I remembered, not as good as the series' height but very decent.

A serious question that is troubling me.

I am wanting to do a star wars movie marathon. My question is what order do I watch them in now?? Chronological by release date or by the plot? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have lost sleep over this question lol xx

I’d do it 123 solo rogue one 45678 but I like watching the story and it leading on

Can I come and watch it with you? Sounds like a fun weekend and I’ll bring snacks

Oh Marvel, currently still venturing into D&D and reconnecting with Ninty this year (been PS4 for a while).

I geek out about most things, especially 80s 90s films.

Sadly yes.

I have a captain america outfit and shield.

Iron Man chest piece, fully working mask/helmet and metal gloves.

And I have a judge dredd helmet and lawgiver.

I also hire a spider man outfit when I visit sick children in hospital.

I'd like to complete the iron man suit but it's too expensive.

I regularly buy marvel figures which I hand out to the children I meet in hospital and DVDs of the character I turn up as.

Friend of mine goes as superman and another as batman.
