I talked about this site with an old, platonic, female friend and I got gasps of excited disbelief. Really piqued her interest. To the extent that she'd maybe want to go to a club at some point.

I haven't told my friends about being on here yet. Not that it is anything to be embarrassed about but more to do with keeping things to myself.

I get your friends reaction. There are probably a lot of people that would be really interested but haven't dared to take the step

I was quite upset by her remarks. The next time we went out she apologised because after speaking to someone else who is on a similar site she understood better the reasons why I'm on here.

I've told one of my female friends what I get up to . She's very intrigued about visiting a club .. We used to see a bit of each other before she moved to Australia.. She's coming to visit me in a couple of weeks and I regularly keep her up to date with my exploits on the club scene . While she's over visiting the UK she wants to come with me to tick off her bucket list so she says.

Can't wait to catch up with her .. lol

Most of my friends weren't surprised in the least! Most find the lifestyle fascinating but are too socially conditioned to look further! A couple have dipped their toes and a couple want to but haven't felt brave enough!

People are often entrenched in a long standing way of thinking and can be quick to react within that without taking the time to consider a different perspective.

I.e. they are dicks. As we can all be from time to time.

I find this site tremendously liberating and grown up.

A couple of friends know, one (single female) comes with me and is also on here.

Another (female) loves to hear the stories but is in a vanilla relationship and probably wouldn’t venture into anything

Another (single male) wants to come with me some time

And a few people in a mum’s Facebook group know and think it’s absolutely shocking. One or two are full of questions and definitely interested in trying it though.

Non of my friends know. A few of them would enjoy the social scene like me. I have often thought if only I would bump into one of them! That way avoid the initial conversation and just talk about the good times ahead.
