Why so many timewasters

I am wondering why so many women on here feel the need to waste men's time. I know women don't have an easy time on here but when it comes to wasting men's time it seems that it's ok for women to arrange meets and not turn up but if a man so much as puts a toe out of line he is ridiculed and ousted by all...... 4 meets cancelled in 10 days.....Why do women think it's ok to cancel

I don't think any demographic is better or worse at this than any other. (and anyone who names and shames is trashy at best, should be looked at by admin)

As to why there are time wasters, it's the Internet, it's difficult to check these things, and some people have too little to do with their lives. (cancelling might be different depending on specifics)

How long before the meet did they cancel?

If I get any bad feeling at all, I'll cancel. If the man gets irate I know I did the right thing.

Worst case scenario; you were a 'Plan b' mate. Block and move on. She/they had their chance, and there are plenty of people in here who won't mess you about

Both sexes are equally as guilty in relative terms, plenty of bad experiences happen from internet meeting sites. Don't always trust that bullshit that women have a tough time, boo hoo, poor me, it's mostly nonsense.

Become clever with it, learn from the mistakes!

I can tell you. guys are just as bad. This last week every guy who arranged a meet with me where all no shows. A right pain in the ass when you get all ready and sit where waiting like an idiot.

Unless I've fallen completely and blindly arse over tit in lust with someone there will always be a healthy measure of scepticism before I meet them. How genuine are they about meeting... Is meeting them going to cause me aggro from others I've met or he's met... Are they the type to get arsey if I don't reply quickly enough to messages or if I have a bit of banter with someone else on the forum... There's lots of things that can set off alarm bells and make someone change their mind.

But also... We do have lives OP and unexpected things happen which may require plans being cancelled or postponed. Someone having the decency to cancel is one thing... Simply not showing up or never offering any explanation is rude.

How much due diligence did you put into checking these "meets" were genuine and likely to turn up OP? Four meets arranged in ten days suggests that it may not have been a great deal.

One of the problems with this site is there are so many men about who are desperate for a meet, and who put aside all the logical checks and balances when they get the merest sniff of mine, that there are people who will, sadly, take advantage of that.

In over two years here, I've not had a single meet that has not shown up and that's because I have taken my time to get to know people and build a level of trust and certainty that they are as serious about meeting me, as I am them, before even suggesting meeting

As others have said too - were they no shows, or cancellations where they let you know in advance? If the latter did they give good reason for doing so?

Thats a lot of failed meets from a few different people and you now looking at it logically you are the link so it may well be you who is doing something to make them change tier mind. You are certainly not hyper interesting to the point they will meet you at all costs so maybe look at what you are doing that makes people say Naaaaaaaaaaaa

I was stood up when I first joined, it does happen with both genders. He did message here a day later asking for another chance but no explanation to why he didn't turn up. Only one of two people I went on to block
