Does the contrived photos that people set up on Fab make anyone else cringe/laugh ?! You know the ones where someone is trying to hard to be sexy, moody, dominant etc. Or they are stood in an unnatural catologue pose (usually men).

Anyway a few tickled me this morning. Oh, yeah some of mine are totally contrived too.

Most of my fab pictures are selfies and I try to capture the reality. I try to smile on some as I think it brightens up my face and coz I like to laugh. Other pics in my private gallery are from photoshoot and stage performance.

Aren't most posed photos contrived though? The only ones that aren't are those which are taken spontaneously where the subject is unaware. I agree that some posed photos look more natural than others, that's down to the skill of the photographer

Yeah, what was that all about back in the day?

I can only assume that the outdoor shoots represented being at one with nature and subsequently in touch with one’s inner 80’s fashion appreciating self whilst the log was overtly representative of masculinity (the male model being implied to have cut it himself - probably with his bare hands) whilst his foot upon it was to denote the fact that he not only rise up to, but conquered the challenge and bested nature herself - the log now a trophy of said wondrous victory.

.....or maybe I’m seriously over analysing this?

I still find it endearing that you follow my every move on the forum.

I was responding to another poster but forgot to press quote and reply... but I'll answer your question. No they don't make me cringe/ laugh. I think most people post contrived pictures. There aren't many completely natural pics. And those that are are normally awfully crap.
