Are there any chocolates, other sweet stuff or savoury food(apart from the Christmas meal) you associate just with Christmas that are must haves in your home for over the Christmas season ?

A big tub of Quality Street (although they’re not as big as they were!)

That's the one, but I stick all sorts of nuts in and multiply the quantities by about 10!

They looked really nice and so easy to make. I like Christmas cooking programs.

Neither did we. We'd write wish lists but children have been writing letters to santa for years so that's nothing new. There was never a guarantee you would get everything or even anything off the list.

My granddaughter has a few A4 pages every year.

These are just a few things - I'm going to Waitrose to spend a small fortune on all the yummy things
