My women friends tell me all the jobs they do around the house.

Ironing, cleaning, child care, washing the car, taking the bins out, mowing the lawn etc etc.

I'm confused why they ever got married because their husbands do fuck all!

Obviously a survey of a handful of friends giving their one sided biased version of events over a glass of wine is hardly scientific but I can honestly say that we share all chores here, cooking, ironing, cleaning, gardening etc.

We both work full time so it’s only fair (is that also the case with your friends, btw?)

There’s a small list of things I’ll tend to exclusively do (mainly manual task : clean the fish tank out, most of the DIY tasks etc) and there’s a small list of things she’ll exclusively do to (mainly administrative: filing all the household bills away, making sure important documents like passports are where they should be).

His “Scottish lasagne” is to die for. We are a partnership. Know what each other are thinking, finish each other’s sentences. In my humble opinion, if marriage ISNT like that, you’re doing it wrong

I do all that and do most of cooking, put the washing on, study,.... And work and sort out fair share of kids. You have to get your man off his arse

I work hard at work and do most of the cooking washing the bins all diy jobs lots of house work pay all the big bills and finally make her laugh and love her lots so I don’t think in our house I’m a waste of oxygen.

I Love Mark, I had a very abusive and shitty life before I met him. He totally changed my life and gave me reason to start enjoying life again. I had 2 kids when we met and he took them on as his own and with his help they have grown into 2 fine young adults with family of their own. We have 2 kids together who are great respectful kids too. I'm disabled and he does everything for me, he cooks , he cleans, he's the family taxi driver and he does all this while fitting in his own pleasure of following Celtic F.C.

. Hubby likes cooking, and will always do the dishes after...I’ll do the washing, Hoover, dust (if I remember) etc but he doesn’t most of it

Her reply was cause he hates gardening. He is currently inside ironing having cleaned the house and later will cook dinner as I hate cooking.

I and all other husbands are a glittering trophy of our wives success.

We can be taken out and shown off especially if Sarah in accounts is going to be there, because she has not been sucessful in getting a husband!

Actually in my head it was a woman bashing question. Why the heck do they get married to someone that they moan about all the time?! Yes they all both work full time yet the men seem to do nothing. I'm not married but live with my partner. He does most the cooking and the dishes, kitchen and bins are his jobs. I clean the rest of the flat including the bathroom and do all the hoovering and dusting. I'm also the one who changes the bedsheets. We both wash our own clothes as I separate my colours and wash at 40 but he throws everything in together at 30. Works pretty well for us. The jobs are pretty fairly split but I often feel like I do more simply because he leaves stuff all over the place that I end up tidying up haha. I think it's just difference in tidyness standards.

lol let’s see what I do daily

Get up clean up, walk dogs, feed cats and chickens, get kids ready for school, get breakfast and hot drinks made for ever family member, then get kids to school,

go to work a bloody hard job / business to sustain the land rovers and county life and endless bloody amazon deliveries (this is the easy part of the day)

come home (whilst getting dinner on way home) clean from the day, cook dinner, serve dinner, feed dogs walk dogs, feed cats and clean cats feed and chickens, bath kids drinks again because no other responsible adult in the house can put the kettle on. Story time for kids then kids to bed now it’s time to go down and shut chickens in, walk dogs check the cats outside. Get lunches ready for tomorrow and do what ever else needs doing or if I’m lucky I

can spend half hour maybe an hour watching tv. Up to bed around midnight to have some fun to be told “it’s late I’ve had a long day” (doing what exactly you have vacuumed and looked after a toddler and older toddler

)

The tomorrow startes for me at 5am again I run on Adrenalin and testosterone oh OH may roll out of bed with kids between 8 and 9 if I take a drink up.

Some of us graft. We ain’t all lazy wankers who get waitered on.

Still I’m happy

Could only ever live with someone again if everything's 50/50. My ex and I chipped in with every chore, childcare, bills etc - I'd never be able to stay with someone who expected me to do it all.

I do alot. Clean all 3 bathrooms every week. Wash and clean both cars. Do all the DIY. Pay all the mortgage. Pay most of the bills. Buy all the of electronics for the house and her.

She does the hoover and bins. And claims to do cleaning every day all day apparently.
