Christmas shopping, who’s finished?

Me, almost! Yay I’m organised this year, just need to wrap it all now and put batteries in the stuff that needs batteries (talking children’s toys here).

Just need to get a few more odds and soda and I need to get my Grampa a nice wool hat like a cowboy hat but not a cowboy hat if anyone knows what I mean and has a recommendation?

Who else is done?

Haven't even started about thinking about it yet!

It's still November.

I like Christmas, but I really dummy like to think about it until after the first week of December. It somehow dilutes it.

Christmas shopping only usually takes me a weekend. I'm quite good at getting gifts, and another weekend to full in a few missing pieces. Plus, Amazon.

Though I do love a day at the shops, getting things, the atmosphere, the buzz, and getting it all gimme and spent the evening wrapping everything.

Just, not yet!

Seriously, I don't! I gave up buying pressies for my Brother and family a few yrs ago. He & his wife jointly earn 7-8 times what I do, whinged about what I could send and afford - they always complain they didn't like it. They'll send cards months after Xmas. They haven't bought me a Xmas present in over 10 yrs. They even spent last Xmas at his sister-in-laws family 8 miles from where I work & live, which I found out about 2 months later! So, I've given up getting gifts for them! Gits!

Thanks for the thought.

I'll spend Xmas at work. The property is closed for 4 days, but as I live-in, I'm the Fire, Phone, Insurance and Security cover! I also have full use of Kitchens to cook my meals, there'll be food, drinks & snacks from colleagues to tide me over too, plus my quarters are comfortable, warm and with a large screen TV. I can also have visitors if I want.

I've got used to this ovet the years; it's not a problem!

I went round most of the shops last night, thank you black Friday! Just some online bits and pieces to get and a click and collect order to pick up next week from Debenhams. That leaves me with needing only a suit for a December wedding which I'll get today and then it's just food and drink after that.

Oh and the tree goes up next weekend. Well prepared this year

Melt is brilliant with traditional and less so chocolate. There's also Rococo as well - they do proper luxury stuff.

Artisan du Chocolat is fancy! And they have a few offers on etc.

As far as the op goes, not finished! List compiled, slowly and enjoyably working through it.
