I dont have kids... as I do know how hard it is. Not saying I couldnt cope but it's not the person I am. I get itchy feet too often and like to go where I want when I want.

The most difficult job in the World is a parent, doubley if youre a single parent.

How do you know it's the most difficult job in the world? A challenging and rewarding job yes. Difficult sure but not the most difficult

Filey

I have a 6 year old daughter. Its the most difficult but yet most rewarding job I have!

Being a single dad is a proper rollercoaster of emotions.

My children are grown up now. But I was left to bring up 3 children of school age. It was hard work to keep a full time job also from, 7.30 to 5.00

My wife left her children. Her mother left her children. Even her gran left her children. Is it hereditary

I don’t think it is, just bad luck to marry into that family. Plus you never know what’s going on behind closed doors x

Not if you teach her about responsibilities.

Interesting to see the comments here.

I take a somewhat different view on parenthood. (Yes, I am a father - and with custody of my youngest - won't go into details as it's a very long story)

I don't consider fatherhood, or parenthood to be a job.

I consider it much more along the lines of a hobby.

It's a role I chose to take on.

No one forced me to become a dad. No one suggested that I had to become a dad in order to be able to live.

Perhaps that's why I also don't look at it as being hard work. Agreed there can be challenges at times, but being a dad is so rewarding and is the thing I am most proud of myself for.

Now, the 6 years of court battles I had over getting to see my children - THAT was hard work!

It didn't strike you as a red flag in the early days?

from the womb and tryout to get back

I don't see how been a single dad is any different from been a single mother yes at times it may be a struggle but I bet non would have it any other way there are far worse struggles in life than been a single parent just my opinion
