One New Years Eve/Day I stayed up until 6am waiting for a cheesecake to defrost (2am cravings while d*unk). Thought it would be a brilliant idea to decorate it with custard creams, digestives, party rings etc. Bad idea

Don't be ridiculous

Marks and Spencers do individual slices.

The chocolate chunk one is amazing

And Waitrose do a cheesecake muffin hybrid

I haven't tried them yet because they're pricy and I will eat them all the time if they're as good as they sound

Aldi used to do a chocolate orange one that I would happily put myself into a diabetic coma with. Don’t think they make it now, so I’m happy with a plain vanilla one.

New York baked cheescake, on it's own. No mint sprigs, no unidentifiable "red berry" compot, no swirls of colour that make no difference to the taste.

Can't stand it when people fuck about with something that's already perfect, you're not making it better, you're messing with perfection.

I feel the same way about creme brule
