Even though I personally don't care about these sales, the phone I want is 20% cheaper and my laptop broke 2 weeks ago so I'll be looking for one of them too

HOLIDAY!! Eve is a super genius when it comes to booking holidays..

She's already had £300 knocked off by shopping around and will probably get another couple hundred knocked off tommorw.

If there’s something you want it’s a good chance to get a decentish deal. But look out for the tricks they do!

I remember a couple of years ago buying a portable DVD player from Argos for £49.99 - reduced from £79.99.

A few weeks later in the “Black Friday Sale” it’s was £59.99 - advertised as a £20 Black Friday saving but actually £10 more than it was being sold for a few weeks earlier!

North Bucks

Looking for some flooring boring I know.

May have a look at some travel deals for next April.

I don’t really want anything.

Although I cleared the prosseco shelf today at Sainsbury’s. They had the good stuff up at £12 a bottle so I had the lot.

notts

From my point of view, rather than having all these different sales, why not sell at the cheapest possible price all the time??

Lower profit margin with bigger turnover

I'm holding out to book a holiday of a lifetime which the travel agent is hoping will go in the black Friday sale as it's just out of financial reach at the minute

How so?

The phone has been the same price since release and now it's 20% cheaper, I know it because I've compared the prices.

Electrical goods hold no thrills for me whatsoever. I buy them only under sufference.

I already had to replace my cooker, fridge and washing machine and bought a microwave a couple of months ago. There isn't anything I'd bother trying to find a discount on and I certainly wouldn't be in the shops trying to find one.

I got my son a $130 toy he wanted for $60 for his birthday. I also got a laptop for him for Christmas and a fake fireplace/entertainment center and a new coat for myself.

I'll go out shopping because I can get away with it while I'm "working". Otherwise I wouldn't bother.
