As a teen living in a seaside resort, my first job was after school serving dinners in a guest house.

Salary? 50pence an hour.

I worked in a supermarket as did most of my friends. We also made friends with loads of others there, it was a good time and many many hangovers ensued.

Paper round as a kiddie, then worked in a petrol station as a teen during school holidays.

I lasted one day in a factory once as a temp during uni holidays. Didn’t like it, never went back! I got £28 for that ..

God Mcdonalds..worked on all areas. Think my pay was like £3.59. Didnt stay long as got an amazing job in toys r us ha.

Mine was delivering the Sunday paper I actually got 200 deutsch marks per week for doing it! It was a brutal route lol

Paper round for £3.50 a week - or 50p a day given it was 7 days a week

Then worked in garden centres as a Saturday/Sunday/school hols job earning £7.50 a day I think it was

Used to rock up to work in a right mess sometimes.

Live in waitress/housemaid in a hotel by the sea.

Lovely little job, £90 a week. No rent, free meals. Long hours but always free from 7pm to do whatever I liked. Managed to save most of my wages.
