There are a lot of abusive men on here I don't think people will deny that though why the ~OP is getting het up about it is probably a bit over the top. Will there be 100 statuses complaining on what say 5000 plus female profiles on here? I would say probably there is as they stop up 3 days, will these men stop being abusive? I doubt it as misogyny is live and kicking on fab all you can do is block and move on.

If all the women blocked single males messaging first on here would be would lead to a flood of men on here moaning about it and a plethora of couples being abused by the abusive men who can no longer contact and abuse women.

I got abusive messages last night cos I was straight forward and told him I wasn't interested in meeting him. Had the cheek to say he's a nice polite guy lol. Why do some people get so upset when you say no thanks.

. There are many threads started by folk most every day on this subject, the message. Is out there already, doesn't seem to change anything.. I guess that could be because

A) they don't read the forums

B) they don't recognise their behaviour

C) they're unwilling to change.

Me ..if I were receiving inappropriate messages I'd take control..or you can hope those folk who send the messages change.

Choice is theirs ..no skin off my nose whatever they choose.

You say this a hell of a lot.

And plenty of us have filters on, it doesn’t stop abuse getting through unless you hide your profile and block every gender, and all ages for example.

Abuse will always get through because nobody expects it. You can’t actually avoid someone being nasty to you before it’s happened, unless of course you just don’t allow anyone to message you.
