So far in my life Ive lived in Cheshire, Manchester, Essex, Cumbria, Somerset and the Scottish borders...

Where i live now is crap for transport links but i wouldn't want to move anywhere else anytime soon as the pros far outweigh the cons

"I’m torn between Norfolk, West Wales and Cornwall. Hoping to make one of those a reality when I finish work. "

Cornwall seem idyllic to anyone who has has only spent time down here on holiday.....

But there a lot of down sides to living in the Duchy.

Example.... You can leave your keys in the ignition of your brand new car and your door keys in the front door lock overnight and when you wake up to your utter disappointment that your house has not been robbed or your car taken..

Live on the Welsh border, it's beautiful, rural and close to everywhere.

would move to Scotland in a heartbeat, on the east coast, Dundee or Carnoustie... Well, anywhere in Scotland really.

Back to the Midlands, be near my mum.

Sadly until my youngest are grown & independent there's no chance of that happening, and by then my reason may no longer exist

I lived in London my whole life and still think it is the capital city of the World.

It has everything you could want and more. I moved to Midlands this year and now have city life with countryside plus being in the middle means nothing is too far
