Catfished by a verified account

Hi everyone,

Firstly, this is not meant as a dig at fabswingers or their admin, but as a general warning to the users.

My account was verified using a genuine photo a while back.

A few days ago I had a thought about verified accounts which later have unverified images added on. So I decided to upload an image of a fit looking guy from Google.

At the first attempt the photo was not approved. So I tried again, this time another admin must have accepted it.

So, now to all the fabbers that look at my account, they will think that person is me, especially if my account has been verified! right?!

I'm sure others have thought of this before, but please be safe and either meet someone in a public place or cam them to make sure they are genuine.

People have their weird reasons, like mine for this experiment.

It's more about people knowing it can be done so they are aware of it.

So it's ok to go meet a woman that has no pics and says she doesn't have any because she wants fucking now??????

I think you missed the point. This goes both ways for men and women. Make sure you check each other out on cam or meet in a public space, that is all I am saying.

I meet for a social first. Cam veris are good to figure out if they are who they say they are, but it doesn't give you the safety element

Don't really understand your logic OP. I think admin probably have enough to deal with without tracking down fake pics put up as an experiment.

sparkle Surprised

I've just joined a kik group never used it before and lovely people helped me to be verified in the group.

Years ago no one bothered face value kinda thing I know on many d*unken nights on another site chatted a while but I never once thought to ask for visual of them on camera.

Turns out I was lucky but it's not always the case. I have a very few trusted friends who knows were I am when I'm back meetings as I didn't bother back then.

If you have no one to inform for reasons private if there is anyone you get on with on here just mention it.

Many people use the verification system as 100% proof the person is genuine. Especially photo verification.

It baffles me, to be honest.

I've met verified and unverified people from here.

I'm pretty sure that the level of social skills that I employed to discover if those people were real or not were pretty basic.

...Up on the Downs

It happens sometimes. I walked out of one meet as the photo posted was seriously misleading/false/out of date - I didn't question it because they were verified by someone I knew, but I guess they changed the pic after.

I've also spotted many false cocks and had a few 'retired american football heros' message me.

"why would anyone do this ?"

Don't start me .......

Picture collectors for a start.

There are some good people on here, and some good admins. But like anything in life, you have to be careful. My ex fwb knew a guy who was white, but had two pics of a black guy's cock on his profile. He found it funny that people didn't notice.

Photo verified is a waste of time. I pay it no credence what so ever.

I've seen fake pics on verified accounts.
