Verified, but not for aaaages...

I see posts every so often about whether people meet unverified people, and there's the usual thing about someone not having a veri after a year...

However I seem to be getting a fair few messages from people recently who do have a veri or three, but they were most recently verified 3,4,5+ years ago.

What would you think was the reason for this, and would it put you off?

I have enough veries to prove I'm real and no interest in collecting more.

I don't rely on veries to make my judgements about others, why would I.

What someone may do with another has no relevance to what we may share, should we meet.

My last veri was from over 4 years ago but that’s because I was very happy just meeting my partner and not seeking anyone else at the time. Life happens sometimes and maybe they have been off the site for a few years

Some may have taken a break, as someone else said, and others may have had repeat meets over that time and felt no need to exchange further verifications. I've been meeting someone for over 2 years and we realised it was silly to keep verifying each other, no matter how much those veris made us smile... Otherwise I'd have well over 100 from one person alone

They took a break?

Its allowed lol but the only thing that puts me off about that if thats the reason is if they don't reflect that in the profile

My last verification was 4+ years ago. Doesn’t mean a thing, just means you haven’t got a paper trail of people behind you. Some people don’t need verifications after meets. Some do.

i got the all clear a while back but just been working on getting healthy again, long road ahead of course. I’m at that stage where i can get an erection and maintain it long enough to fuck a jar of liver for about 30 seconds.

I really don't understand this business about only meeting people with a recent verification.

I think they're completely misunderstanding the whole verification system.

A verification is there for the purpose of proving that the person is real and shows up to a meet.

It is not a performance review system.

Surely if someone is real, they continue to be so.

If someone hasn't had a verification for a long period of time, there could be a whole number of reasons.

Several people I met when on my former profile did not leave verifications. Even if I left one for them. They just weren't the sorts of people who would do them for others.

Someone might have other things going on in their lives that might get in the way, or they might hit a dry patch for some reason or another.

Its happening more as people hide profiles rather than delete these days then reactivate years later. If someone had a 3 year old vari well they were whatever they say then so I just ask them why no recent ones if I am interested if not then no thanks.

No, as a veri summary can show enough info that says if they have met others in the past. I've met people who dont need them or leave them anymore as they have established a good reputation on the site

I don't display them, I don't give or recieve verus anymore because I think they are inane.

I still manage to meet people...
