How old were you in the 90's?

Where were you? School, Uni, Work?

What are your fondest memories of that time?

I don't really miss any of it. I was at school for 5 years of it, and I hated school. Wish I had the body I had in the late 90's coupled with the confidence I have now.

Mostly being young and everything feeling new and exciting.

Also I miss the general "lariness" of the 90s

I was 17 when the 90’s ended. I miss the bands and the cheap gig/festival tickets. To be fair all my favourites still knock out a tour every now and then. I really miss Camelot theme park too

There was no internet - I had to socialise

it was the most creative decade for me ... i wrote and published more work every month than most people do in a lifetime ... and on top of that i was doing around 200 gigs a year for most of the decade .... living the dream really

From what I understand of sexuality she was likely a lesbian then too?

Miss the relaxed life compared to today. No email, very little mobile phone in early 90's meant that people didn't expect you to work 24/7.

I was 18 in 1990 and had spent most of 1989 discovering the joys of live music. I still go to a lot of gigs so I don't really miss it but that time when it was all still new, going to pubs and seeing mates bands or bands I'd never heard was pretty ace.

People actually interacting with eachother face to face because social wasn't invented yet.

That and people being unable track you down on social media when you do a disappearing act.

There and to the left a bit

Was 25 in 1990 and the 90s was mostly the decade I'd rather forget on many levels - although would take a return to the house prices of the early 90s if we could - plus the fact that the standard of living was much better generally back then

'93 to '98 were my secondary school years. I don't miss the early part but I do miss it from '96 onwards. The music was great, I was discovering girls, there was lots of good comedy on TV, gaming was becoming awesome with the PS1 being huge at the time, and there just seemed to be a buzz and positivity for the future which unfortunately only lasted until the 9/11 attacks in 2001. Obviously 9/11 didn't directly affect the UK as such but it changed the atmosphere around the world for the worse.

Stourbridge

Tickets to centre court semifinals every year at Wimbledon, attending most of the welsh rugby and England football , cricket test matches, being very fit,

European football nights, having a massive expense account!

I had a surreal interview in the 90’s to set up the firms operation in Hong Kong. I didn’t apply for it but the bosses wanted me to do it. It consisted of this:

Boss- you like Chinese food don’t you?

Me- yes it’s my favourite

Boss- go and set up Hong Kong for us will you? You have to live there though.

At the time it wasn’t possible to move out there for us so I didn’t do it. I did have some fun times there though!

At the risk of being shot down by medical professionals, Sertraline (antidepressant) AKA Zoloft, stops me getting hangovers. I'm only talking 4/5/6 pints.

I also miss being able to nip to the beach in less than 10 minutes
