.....a scarefest!

Waddup you sexy bunch? Anyone know of any "hidden gems" in the horror genre?

Bearing in mind that genuinely frightening films are extremely few and far between, especially the modern ones and most of the classics now are more loaded with cheese than Cheesy McCheesepuff, delivering a four cheese pizza with cheesy garlic bread!

Hmmm....suddenly got an idea for din dins for some reason....

Any recommendations greatly appreciated

Ta muchly!

Rec 1&2 are good, I enjoyed the Exorcism of Emily Rose too. I've been meaning to watch Veronica as that's supposed to be good.

I agree with you on modern horror films - I hate jump scares

Here and there

A quiet place is an excellent film. Not quite a straight up horror film but very unsettling.

Seen them, they're ok, fairly atmospheric but not scary

The Omen....meh, Blair Witch....terrible, and I've fallen asleep during the Exorcist twice!

Ah, Rec 1 and 2 I've been wanting to see but can't find them on any platforms I use reliably

Emily Rose was ok, and Veronica isn't too bad for a subtitled film

I'm yet to find a copy of this with the subtitles in the right places but it does look good

Here and there

Found one last week with subtitles so it is out there. Took a bit of searching though.
