If my fridge keeps freezing things do I turn the dial thing to a higher or lower number? Is it a temperature number or a level of coldness? They should teach this stuff at school!

What other vital life skills should they teach at school?

How to grow food. How to prepare food. How to catch food. How to cook food.

I was the only boy in my year that took 'cooking' and I had the piss ripped out of me for doing so.

I think they should teach the green cross code again in schools going by the amount of moron students I nearly run over in York on a regular basis! They just walk out into the road without looking with their faces buried in their phones, usually with massive earphones on so they can't even hear traffic coming.

they really should be teaching grown adults why the sky is blue and space appears black..and that its not some giant pizza controlled by 10'000 warships stopping flattards seeing the edge.

Better to teach them them the importance of RTFM

(Read the f***ing manual)

Your appliance documentation will explain what the numbers represent.

For example, rather than having a series of numbers that could mean anything, my new Fridge Freezer is equipped with a display that shows the temperature of the Fridge and the Freezer in degrees celcius and adjustments can be made to these
