Back in the 80's about 30 bikes some with Pillions rode down to a rally in Kent, about 3 miles out we stopped stripped off and put on stockings and suspenders plus of course out crash helmets and rode on into the event.

Got greeted with cheers, free entry and a lot of free beers through the weekend. Try it now and you will probaby be refused entry and given a lecture in safe riding gear

I still go to a lot of bike events, but tend to prefer the smaller ones (around 1000 people) these days. Planning to include some of the big name ones in the US on my summer ride this year. Just because they are big, but will also seek some smaller ones for sanity!

Still planning the route, not sure if I am taking my bike or buying one for the trip. I will probably start in Canada, its easier for either option. heading down Highway 1 (Pacific coast road) no matter what, then cutting across to Floida but most of the middle bit will be meandered...

"I still go to a lot of bike events, but tend to prefer the smaller ones (around 1000 people) these days. Planning to include some of the big name ones in the US on my summer ride this year. Just because they are big, but will also seek some smaller ones for sanity!nice where you headed? ive been quite a few places in the states x

Still planning the route, not sure if I am taking my bike or buying one for the trip. I will probably start in Canada, its easier for either option. heading down Highway 1 (Pacific coast road) no matter what, then cutting across to Floida but most of the middle bit will be meandered...i know cali quite well, been northern and southern, been some places along that coast road.. took train from redding to LA down the coast they have clear glass (perspex maybe)carriages so you can see the whole coast on the way down..it was cool.. course the famous beaches in southern cali, just feel good cos you got there this lifetime

"

Most rides I do are small town or open road only, Dont really like cities much riding just gets your head into peaceful mode and traffic / people mess with that. Though I will make some effort to get into a couple of "known" places it will almost all be unknown small town stops.

"but i used to be the secretary..i am sentimental

Why did't you wear glasses while you where here then? I saw you wearing a rather tiny skirt at the Attic though i wear them now..my eyeballs hadn't changed shape, at that point..you were lucky, most clubs i just run around naked in;)

I tried that, the bike club were not amused they hold wet t-shirt competitions at the bulldog bash held by hells angels. i know, that's what inspired me to go ahead in wet t-shirt comp at a club, id bottled out at that bike rally..

I've been there, it's a good weekend it was x

I know quite a few of the Angels, as well as some of The Outlaws, but I much prefer to go to the Rock & Blues Custom Show at Pentrich these days. cool. i haven't been for years, prefer to go other places these days x i expect the music pulls in a good crowd

Oh yeah, they have some brilliant bands on, and some awesome bikes ae well i dont feel i want to go to those kind of places on my own any more..i suppose i wont have to..that will be a novelty

I don't think any any woman just rocks up to a gig on her own does she? yes, i have had to, or, stay at home for a decade "

Ten years? { I would have at least taken you to Skegness or Blackpool

Well most of women that I've met are almost entirely with a partner/girlfriend, but it's the way that you approach them that counts
