apparently its called shrinkflation

Eg .the yard of Jaffa, cakes is now only 28 inches long ( has now got 40 Jaffa, cakes in it compared to last years,48). These manufacturers are having a laugh at our expense .

Next year it will probably be only 24_inches .I think someone needs,to go back to school to see what a yard is actually . another is the topic bar( used to claim a hazelnut in every bite,)...now its find the hazelnut

"Ninja Death Stars and those butterfly knives

I made mine from 2.5mm plate steel. I would spend all day cutting them, then filing the edges so they were razor sharp. My dad wondered where his steel kept going. Summer holidays were great! We used to make chinese arrows and giant longbows as well. The longbows were over 6 feet and you had to lie on your back put your feet up and the bow would go across your feet. We never once "took anyones eye out"!

"Two tone trousers."
Youth identities. Sounds funny at first but everyone looks the same today pretty much. Youth culture has become a slave to the likes of Nike or Adidas. In the late 70's and 80's we dressed in a display of who or what movement we wanted to follow. We had an identity.

"TDK C60 cassettesUsed to use C46 ones, a good many albums fit on those without to much blank space at the ends. Still can get them though thanks to the internet.

Concert tickets from Record stores, for less than a tenner too. No booking fees either."

Don't you mean C90's -which could hold a complete album on each side? -I used to use the C60's for mix-tapes but never really heard of C45's meself.

Stourbridge

I saw the Scorpions for £2.50. And Rush. And AC/DC in small venues too.

I think Blondie the first time round was £1.50.

Yeah but I wouldn't like to buy them on the wages I was earing at the time -don't think my paper round could quite cover the moving costs let alone the deposit.
