Bristol East

My childhood hero, banging in the goals for Celtic, Liverpool and Scotland.

And an absolute rock for those bereaved by Hillsborough.

Gets his knighthood today.

Maybe. Maybes aye, maybes naw!

A true legend of the game. Thoroughly deserved- he has put his heart and soul into our Club and their charity work. His role in the aftermath of the Hillsborough disaster was one of the most significant acts of Leadership that football has seen.

The honours system was set up to subjucate the masses because the establishment feared revolution following the Russian one.

But that aside I think in its purest form it's good idea but unfortunately it's been hijacked by politicians to reward cronies and party donors rather real people who have giving above and beyond themselves.

But again, I think the honours system is the new Class System by the back door.

"The Messi of his day , Good on you Sir Kenny. Well Deserved "

Why does he deserve a knighthood instead of say, MBE or OBE?

She only doles out what the government's honours committee sets, unless it's her own family of course then it's dukedoms just for getting married, where are the French and Russians when you need them!
