Certain words appearing in red and if you click on them you go somewhere you might not want to go. Has the site been hacked? Z

not very good with these things, but if its still happening i would also look into changing passwords incase you have been hacked xxx

Done a complete scan and all seems to be ok - if it's a scammer they'll check my bank account and put some money in there as they'll feel sorry for me! Z

Try installing another browser and seeing if you get the same problem.

Sounds like a BHO (browser helper object) which your AV wont necessarily detect - strictly speaking a bho is malware that is often unwanted but not classed as a virus or Trojan so not removed by some antivirus products.

Also download the free version of MalwareBytes and let it scan your entire PC. It's the mutt's nuts for removing malware (including BHOs).
