Who from history would you love to have met for a chat? Two of mine: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, (a music genius) and Delia Derbyshire, another music genius who loads have never heard of. She was pioneer of electronic music and created the Dr Who theme.

Her mother was beheaded, her father was one of the best known kings in English history, she was fiercely intelligent, barely knew a minutes privacy in her entire life and was one of the best known queens in English history.

Her portraits don't show a woman of great beauty that's true but I wouldn't say they show an ugly one. In her later years she had to be caked in make up to maintain a youthful appearance for public confidence. She probably either had black teeth or no teeth too but that wouldn't have been unusual. To my mind though she's a fascinating character.

My dad, I'd like to have known who he was..

Just messing I knew him well, I'd have to say I've Connelly, in 1812 she was made homeless by the the then Duke of Devenshire, by all counts a very powerful man. Everywhere she turned she got no help as some of those days had no voice, so in her disparation she stood on the corner of Oxford Street and voiced her disgust to all that would listen, and people did listen they stopped and listened. This was the first time in history women had a voice, and no where in history will you find anything about it, she got her home back, her livelyhood and reputation as the finest whorehouse madam in London back.

Ida was my great grandmother and from the sounds of it a pretty cool chick

I'd say any of the Egyptian architects who were behind Egypts well known pyramids because the technology they had available still befuddles the world today. It's no coincidence that they all reside on the lines where natural energy is strongest, as well as them being harmonically perfect and even align with the stars. Not to mention the incredible size of the blocks used to construct them.

You may be right and I probably share those thoughts, however I know history has many tales thrown in to complete some of its missing information, we barely know some events that happened last century let alone 5 of them ago
