I’ve got a friend who put hers up before Halloween, this year!!

She’s usually a big fan of Halloween, but wasn’t feeling it this year, so decorated for Xmas instead!

There are 12 Days of Christmas and none of them are in November.

There are six in December and six in January.

Decoration's shouldn't go up (to my mind) till Christmas Eve!!

Shakespeare's Twelfth Night is so called to celebrate the last night of Christmas on January 6th.

"Mine are up - up in the loft where they will be staying!

Agreed. It's not what it used to be. It's all about present giving and who's got the biggest present pile on Facebook. My ex used to show me her Facebook page and feel guilty that her kids piles where not as big. I mean some of the piles of presents where just stupidly massive for just few or maybe even kid. Most of it probably pound shop shite. Kids want the new Xboxs or the bew game that costs £50 plus the dlc for that game which is another £45 and laptops. Not cheap.... one year I spend £1.500 on Mrs and £700 for each of the 3 kids. I was growing at the time so didn't bother me, but still.
