Having to pay for carrier bags at the supermarket has certainly stopped me throwing them away. Unfortunately constantly forgetting to put them back in the truck when i've done the shopping means i'm now the proud owner of around two hundred bags for life.

Take them out from under the sink and hang the carrier bag, full of carrier bags on the inside handle of your front door.

You can't forget to add them to your boot then.

It's worth paying 5p for a Waitrose one and using it for everything. Hide the Lidl ones for when desperate times come.

omg!! I tidied up the spare cupboard in the kitchen, I counted about 50 £1 bags for life. Like I’ve spent £50 on carrier bags this year!!

I used to feel like a cheat, packing my shopping using another supermarkets bags.

At the checkout in Tesco putting your goods into Morrisons bags. I half expected the cashier to throw my change at me.

Thankfully it's not at all akward

I know. If they really are bags for life i guess i could gift them in my will, or maybe take them with me and see if they're bags for afterlife too. I'm sure there's going to be an Aldi there, they seem to be popping up everywhere else.

Ha ha line all the bags up and make a path from your door to your truck! You might even have some over to put in your truck for your next shopping expedition
