If you turn up at a meet and the person is not what you expected in the slightest and you can’t go through with it what do you do?

Won’t that just lead to an argument?

It would be a social meet so I’d probably have a drink and see what they had to say for themselves and then leave.

"Buy her a drink and be pleasant"

If you tell a woman she is not what you expected and you don’t want to have sex with her it’s not going to go down well.

It would be a coffee meet anyway with no pressure to take it any further for this reason.

And what makes you think that?

I stay and try my best to enjoy the evening but make every effort not to be flirtatious in any way at all. Normally they get the message and we part politely.

The one and only time I did this, I could see from a distance I'd been lied to as there was absolutely no way I could have got him mistaken for someone else..... I just kept on going.

It wasn't worth my time to deal with an out and out liar

That’s why I always meet for a social first.

I knew I had to leave as soon as I walked through the door

Another vote for this. It would mean that they've been economical with the truth and I don't have time to waste with people like that

First meets are normally social, so you be honest and polite that there's no spark there

Bring up the photos from the profile which have mislead you, ask the question, explain that you’re going to finish your drink and leave

I agree with Queen L and done so on two occasions one of which was a total mislead. A supposed TV with a face pick sent to me who turned out with a fullset beard. Either very good with Photoshop or outright liar. That was in my early days. No arguments and no damage other than a waste of my time.

If they've lied to me then i make my disgust known there and then and leave, if they can't show me the respect of being honest then why should I give them my time.
