Sat here chuckling to a well known film.

Could your problems be dealt with by being rich?

Me it wouldn’t solve them but it would sure as hell help take some of them away.

When I saw the title of this thread I thought the Tories had introduced a new slogan

In answer to your question - yes, for sure. And, depending on what your definition of rich would be, I would also hopefully be able to alleviate the problems of others facing hardship through no fault of their own, which I'd find enriching on a personal level.

Actually, no.

I could be a multi-millionaire and one problem would still exist - at least until my youngest turns 18

Ha ha let’s hope Boris does not punch this slogan for his assault on number 10.

If I could help others it would probably help straighten my brain out even more

In my own small way let me assure you that the money solution wears off quite quickly and your "demons" and "problems" soon resurface.

Being wealthy wouldn't solve my problems but would definitely make them much easier to live with.

My main issues stem from my mum's MS so the only thing that would solve them would be for a new miracle cure to be discovered.

Being rich would mean I could buy her a house/bungalow more suited to her needs and I could employ professional carers to help look after her instead of us just trying to muddle through. This would also give me more time for ME as looking after her is a full time job.

My friends won 2 million on the lottery. They now have lots of holidays and move house often as none are ever 'quite right'. They don't fit in with people who are upper class as they didn't go to the right schools etc and are serm as 'flash trash'. Their old friends don't have the money or free time to do the things they want to do. If they offer to pay they are 'lording it over them' if they don't they are tight......

Be lovely if money could solve problems, but it often causes as many as it solves.

It would solve my desire to pay off my mortgage and work fewer hours though.

Yes most of mine it would. I could afford to pay for the care my sons need and not rely on social care x

All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy!
