They all try a little *too* hard now to pull at the heartstrings I think... it all gets a little bit wanky to be honest and this is coming from someone who absolutely loves Christmas!!

I haven’t seen any yet this year though to be fair so don’t know what any of them are like. And I bet now I’ve said that the Sainsbury’s one the OP refers to doesn’t try to pull at the heartstrings at all?
