Possibly one of my favourite songs R.E.M - Man On The Moon, namechecks aplenty. Even good ol’ Charles Darwin makes it in there.

I can think of a couple more songs that are written about or shamelessly uses a known name.

Googled there and the song was out in 2004, but that didn't happen until 2007. So the lighthouse man it is. Weird.
