i used zovirex as it first broke out on sunday

also used after shave ??

nothing works , all seem to last at least 7 days

You can buy tiny little cold sore plasters. If you can get them to stick on and stay on, they do help healing. They are sort of skin coloured, not invisible but not glaringly obvious either.

I have some but you live too far away to collect. Get some tomorrow, they will keep for next sore. If you feel the tingle next time with a tiny blister forming, hold an ice cube on every hour, it really holds it back from getting much bigger.

Ice cube only delays outbreak, it won't heal now.
