Lol as title says 22 weeks since operation 5 months bloody hell.

Had final meeting with me an hr as planned go back early January. If anything am sick of the meetings every 4-6 weeks with hr and then occy health ain’t fun when wana just rest and recover an every meeting get me stressed an anxious about what may happen or be said.

Have 8 weeks before go back excited but nervous and terrified but know it’s natural as if look back 8 weeks I was still on 2 crutches and had fractured leg still and since I can walk normal without limp now and getting stronger every day.

Haha I know some will be glad when over so I don’t write these posts but oh well lol thanks for the support and love it’s been tough an my mental state tested an broke but getting better especially as now have Christmas to look forward to and enjoy and when go back work be a new year new me haha

The meetings are the worse they try and sugarcoat them that they're helping but God knows where they get that idea from

It’s not fun I just feel some are supportive and others like occy health who suppose to support are not and make things worse by feeling rushing an forcing back. I have to be safe as I have lives in my hand so it’s my safety and other people’s.

I just hate the meetings I feel criticises and judged especially as I had fractures and plates in operation and they know that yet wonder why am not back yet when I had 4 months muscle waste and only 3 weeks ago started physio to walk again

Super excited just been to the gym first time in a year due to injury, operation and recovery. Walked to the gym and did my physio session and increase bike work from 5-7 minutes, then walked home.

In few more visits will do more upper body gym exercises but super happy and excited what I did taking my home physio and doing in gym plus was nice see other humans lol

Sounds like more progress my friend, good news! I know it’ll probably be daunting going back to work but once you’re back I’m sure you’ll soon be back in the swing of things provided you’re fit enough to be there! I’m sure they’ll agree a gradual return phased in over a few weeks given how long you’ve been out!

I hope you recover fully and can get Back to some form of normality
