Just watching Louis Theroux programme about Polyamory. Isn’t that another word for swinging or am I being a bit dim here?

Swinging doesn’t involve relationships.

I swing, have sex with other men but I’m only in a relationship with my husband

Polyamory=Open romantical involvement with more than one person at a given time.

Polygamy=Open romantical and sexual involvement with more than one person at the time.

Swinging=Get laid, fill your boots, go nuts sexually with a partner or without.

(:

When you got to the bit where the husband said he would like to watch his wife with her lover , and maybe join in , and the look on her face - did you realise then it had nothing to do with swinging at all ?

Or the part where the kids just didn’t want to look at the camera , because Mum was hugging the other guy and their Dad was cringing ?

It has absolutely nothing to with swinging at all .

Not convinced on the polymory front either to be honest.

Seemed to be forced compromises, with one partner calling the shots.

Big time , and to be fair Louis is a good guy who shows things the way they are . Even he couldn’t show it in a great light .
