Raised to believe it doesn't mean everyone will adhere to that belief system in later life. There'll be an underground revolution encouraging people to masturbate and fuck. As far as peaceful, no. Because women will have (more) value placed on them as to whether or not they can carry children. Men will be under more pressure to deliver sperm and not having an outlet might make them cranky. But the revolution will put an end to all that stupidness anyway.

It would be a far more patriarchal society than we have now. It would be terrible for equality.

Like going back a few centuries. Contraception has enabled more change in society than it’s often given credit for.
