"Does anyone remember "Braindead" by Peter Jackson as well? It was one of his early films long before he did the Lord of the rings trilogy. There is a scene involving a house full of zombies and an upturned electric lawnmower which is an absolute splatterfest." The karate kicking priest and that guy eating the ear in the pudding His mum was very very angry btw

"One that’s not been mentioned and certainly isn’t the worst zombie film out there is an Australian film called wyrmwood, it’s a cross between a zombie film and mad max." I really like Australian horrors. They can do grim and bleak very well, in the same way that Brit cinema can sometimes. Never seen that one though, I'll look out for it.

"I’m generally against most remakes but The Night Of The Living Dead remake from 1990 was very respectful to the original whilst providing a nice character twist for Barbara (girl power!) It was directed by none other than Tom Savini, chief fx make up artist and long time collaborator with George Romero on the original Dawn and Day Of The Dead (you may also remember him playing Sex Machine In From Dusk Til Dawn)" And he was a biker in dawn of the dead, and a cop in the 2004 remake
