These forums are used for many reasons, some for fun, some serious.

They can give people a place to talk and share feelings and thoughts.

But can you be too open on here? Does being very open esp about thoughts and emotions go against why people come to the site and put people off wanting to contact or hook up?

Yes it could do i suppose if someone doesnt really know you they could get the wrong idea about you as even family can do the same thing and misunderstand you, take what you say the wrong way no matter what you say.

Some do it because genuinnely have nobody to talk to but others do it because they're a bunch of attention seeking pussies.
