yes but not a handbag type dog want it to be quiet robust

Just cos it isn’t big doesn’t mean it’s not a dog and I am sure they would be very affectionate

My grandad at one point had a collie, a King Charles and a yorkie. All female, and the best dogs I’ve ever met. So well matured, so calm, so well behaved.

Manchester Terriers if you must have a small dog. I prefer biggish dogs, even if unfortunately they don’t live as long as the smaller types.

It's the incessant yapping that gets me -surely those aren't real dog noises are they? It's feline equivalent would have to be both on heat and speed to keep up
