Had an interview for a job at one of big hotels in Llandudno 20 yrs ago. Didn't get job though.

But what struck me was Licensing laws locally meant night clubs or late bars had to close by Midnight!

Is it still the same these days?

Liverpool was known as capital of North Wales.. Was venue once of national eisteddfod... Said to originate from llwr Pwll.

Famous department store Owen Owens.... Deliberately employed Welsh speaking shop assistants to deal with the special shopping railways trips ran from North Wales...
