What is the difference Pansexual/bisexual?

Essex and Dublin

I class myself as Bisexual. I dont have a preference over male or female. My preference is that they be a decent nice human and our personalities gel and we like each other... a lot.

I do believe though that there are 2 genders. I'm not saying I think a person has to be fixed as one of those 2. Gender isn't what matters to me- but I do think it exists.

Redditch

Bi-sexual is men and women

But pan sexual is men, women, Transexuals and any other consenting adults.

As with all labels, it means what ever you want it to mean, unfortunately.

Remember that a lot of people on this site believe that two men indulging in oral sex are straight, if one is dressed as a woman, and others believe that a man is gay if a woman uses a strap-on on him.

I describe myself as pan-sexual. As long as someone can make me laugh, we are half way there, regardless of gender identity.

Brighton - even Hove!

Pansexual just sounds pretentious to me so I will stick to bi(part-time)sexual.

Bisexuality implies that there are only two genders, that being male and female. Pansexuality, on the other hand, implies that there are more than two genders. Pansexuals have no problem dating or sleeping with a transgender person, xx

Ahh, that suddenly makes so much sense, thanks for explaining so succinctly. If only we could choose that as an option on Fab
