I decided to take a year off , a kind of holiday if you like , after being poorly in January .

And I haven’t been bored once since I did .

Get an Xbox or a PlayStation , sorted

I've sat in some mind numbingly boring meetings, fidgeted through some mighty tedious films, tried to look interested as a family member trots out an anecdote for the umpteenth time and stared out of the window while someone holds forth on their favourite topic. Boredom is good for a person, it gives you time to think, to consider and to plot
