your imagination

I read profiles.... Up to a point. If the profile text extends beyond the first screen and requires scrolling my mind automatically employs an 'if/then' function.

i.e., If I kinda fancy this person, then I will keep scrolling. If not, I won't.

"Who's got time for that. "

Exactly so why should people bother to read profiles and write thoughtful messages?

I think generally being a nice person and not a dick is more important than reading profiles tbh, replying for a friend ..

Guilty of not reading forum posts properly. Sometimes I just go rogue and answer what I want to answer.

Profiles? Oh. I read every word

No, we just want to be sure that what we think we've read is what's been said.

One chance to make an impression and all that, besides you're able to put something pertinent to the people that you will want to be writing to, that's how it rolls with us.

I think i need to change my strategy. I read their bio first then go up to find out I'm not in their age criteria. Damn was some good reads too. A few made me intrigued also.

To be honest. No matter how well you’ve written your profile or how well you write a message - if the person doesn’t want to reply, they won’t.

Some profiles are bare but filled with veris whilst I others are detailed but not so much.

All depends on that initial ‘vibe’.

When I'm meeting, my profile sets out how I filter through the messages I receive.

Everyone who passes gets a reply. Everyone else gets deleted.
