Gossip. A titillating bit of fun to see you through the day? Or a claustrophobic fucking nightmare you try your best to avoid?

Would you meet/date a gossip? Or would you avoid them like the plague?

I can't stand gossip. So it's avoid avoid all the way for me

Depends what the topic was.

I tune out easily and forget what people have said anyway.

That's the stuff you let go in one ear and out of the other.

Gossip is stuff that isn't quite true and has been embellished.

There’s gossip and then there’s gossip!

Some is very negative / destructive. Lighter hearted stuff eg “ooh I liked that dress that so and so was wearing” can bond and build relationships. It’s all about the right balance!

Define a gossip...

If you have never ever spoken about another person to another person, then shine your halo. I tend to be a little suspicious of anyone that suggests they don’t ever, ever, ever gossip. Remember, what you deem “just having a conversation about”, might feel very much like gossip to someone else or the subject of the conversation.

Yep. We spend ages gossiping at work... most of which we know we're making up on the spot so no one takes any of it seriously.

That's the fun kinda gossip. Bitchy gossip I don't have an interest in.

Harmless gossip, yes. Dangerous gossip, never. I tend to get told it though. I'm pretty clueless to what goes on in others lives and even then, gossip is not always based on fact. I take it all with a pinch of salt

I only have one real friend so we know just the same as everyone's else. I'm on Facebook though so I tend to rely to her any interesting gossip.

At work I'm showing that I don't get involved with gossip, neither do I offer up much information about myself but that's purely because I'm trying to show a colleague that if I fucked his brains out it would stay secret!

I love when gossip about me gets around to me, I love to hear what people think they know about me or what is being said. It's always amusing.

I don't mind gossip in general. I tend to take it with a pinch of salt though. If you didn't see it with your own eyes and hear it with your own ears then don't pass it on.
