Who’s having one? Or had one?

Or are you far too grounded for any of that nonsense?

If you’re too young for all that, do you think you’ll have one?

Maybe me signing up again to a casual sex site (for that’s what Fab *really* is Swing fans! ) is my way of recognising that life is rushing on by .. I’m nearer 50 than 40 after all

Should I buy myself a sporty convertable and find myself an 18 year old girlfriend?

I have a partner 24 years my junior

I jacked a very good job in for an unknown future late last year

I have lost a decent amount of weight this year and now go to the gym 5 times a week

The signs are all there ?

Mid life crisis tho ?

I just like to think I am making my life a bit better for myself

I deserve it

The right place

I had my mid life crisis when I was 30. Although I hope it wasn’t actually mid life.

I figured I’d get it out of the way early.

Maybe I’ll have another one later but right now I’m feeling ok about life.

Sometimes a crisis is required to get you out of the ruts that become your life.

I'm definitely ready to have a mid life crisis - I'm bored rigid with routine

I'd love to have the balls ( and money ) to pack up and leave.

I'd love to relocate somewhere, new job, new life and new lovers

Going to a lot of funerals in the last 18 months certainly focusses your mind on your own mortality.

I wouldn't say it's a mid life crisis, maybe more of a wake up moment.

But you know what. There's part of me that thinks a mid life crisis is quite a good thing now (it'll be even better if I can find a 20yr old girlfriend haha ). It's a moment of reassessment and rejuvenation. It's the last cry of a rebellious youth in the face of oppressive social conventions

I was once someone's mid-life crisis. 18 years old and with a guy more than twice my age. I was enjoying life, clubbing, staying up all night, working hard all day... It lasted almost 2 years. Looking back on it now it must have nearly killed him trying to keep up

According to the ever scientifically accurate Maxim magazine "Multiple studies suggest the key to a long and prosperous life is not eating beets and drinking sad green juices all the time, but rather something much more enjoyable -- dating younger women.

Apparently, older dudes who date younger ladies live longer and are in better health, which means if you're a single guy who's getting on in years, you might want to consider hooking up with a hot, young, millennial girlfriend. It's for your health, after all."

So Dan... where shall we start looking?

So I don't know whether it's midlife because I don't know how long I will live lol. But I am a 33 year old mother of 4, semi professional job, married for 15 years and a formerly saintly wife. I had never even kissed another man/woman since I was a teenager. Then I got so tired of the mundane, I got a new job, gained more confidence and all that old routine went out the window. My husband gave me the space to develop as a person this year. Even though he hasn't much been involved he has allowed me to develop and explore myself as a person and I guess the thing that has changed most about me this year has been my sexuality. I am a completely different person, I met him so young. He is 10 years older than me and got to do so much before we met but I felt like I had missed out so much getting married and having babies young.

I not harming anyone else so I am embracing it. My extended family, brother sister's and mum and dad have all noticed a change in me but that is because I am not being a doormat any more and I am not doing all the legwork of relationships with them. I have moved on this year, grown up and put myself first for a bit for once and I think this has been my happiest year yet apart from losing a very dear relative. Maybe it isn't so much of a midlife crisis than actually making myself happy rather than living my life for other people's approval

No crisis... I just don't give a damn what anyone else thinks these days and want to enjoy life and grow old disgracefully.
