Any of you lovely people suffer from Tinnitus?

I’ve had it on and off for years but over the last few weeks since a virus it’s got worse.

Northampton Somewhere

My sister suffers very badly with it. She says it's constant, worse at night when it's very quiet. I believe she's been given some special hearing aids which doesn't take it away just alleviates the symptoms a little bit x

Central

A lot of us here suffer Tinnitus and have discussed it in the forum a fair few times. I have it 24/7 and it drives me nuts sometimes.

Reducing stress as much as possible is likely to be a good management strategy.

White noise can help iliviate symptoms of tinnitus especially if you're trying to sleep.

Hope that helps

Had one dose of Cisplatin 10 years ago, caused tinnitus which has never stopped since.

Other sounds can reduce it, which is why it's worse at night, I now sleep with music playing.

It is bloody annoying!

I had it in both ears after a car crash. Now it's just in the left. Always there but most of the time it's tolerable, until someone mentions tinnitus..

I’ve found that mine has been worse recently, there’s not been much I can do to alleviate it

I’m going to invest in one of those machines.
