You do all know it’s international sausage week this week don’t you?

What are you doing to celebrate? Has anyone got a sausagefest planned?

We’re saving ourselves until Saturday when we will have a sausage celebration, can’t beat a Saturday morning sausage!

I was in Dusseldorf a couple of weekends ago. Meeting up with old friends.

I basically had Currywurst for every meal.

Cumberland far over rated I’m aftaid. The Lincolnshire is a pretty good match but you can’t beat a good old butchers handmade sausage. I’d eat sausage all day every day I’d i had a frying pan in the boot

Sainsbury’s shroomdogs are really nice and they do a Cumberland version.

The caramelised onion ones are really lovely though

Funnily enough I've just tried the Iceland vegan chorizo. Just about ok.

Tesco used to sell a vegetarian black pudding that was actually tastier then the real thing. Not sure if they still do.

Random Personal Experience-Sausage-Related Fact: A girl once served me a big sausage in an eatery and started laughing as she wrapped the serving tongs around its meaty, juicy girth.

I myself sometimes spontaneously giggle randomly whilst cutting tomatoes and asparagus.
