I don’t put a face pic up most of the time because of previous nasty comments I’ve had from ladies on here, but I’ve decided to stick two fingers up to them and change my profile pic to a face pic for a while. Wish me luck

Ignore the nasty comments, it’s not necessary at all and I can never understand why people feel the need to send nasty messages about someone’s appearance.

Happened to me a while ago, except I had threats of finding me on Facebook etc so never again!!

Good for you. We can't please all of the people all of the time (except in a club hah)

When I originally posted my profile photo I have up now, a guy I had said I wasn't interested in meeting sent me a nasty message saying how I was far too fat for him and that he was glad he dodged a bullet. There was also a couple of people I chat to that said it wasn't very fetching. That upset me a little as I really liked it but in the end I thought the same as you and said fuck it. I like it, I'm keeping it up. I have many photos on my profile now that show my figure exactly as it is and I'm proud of them.

By showing yourself at least the people you chat with are interested from the start. Gets rid of the whole, sorry you aren't my type scenario as well as the majority of negative or nasty messages.

Thanks but it's okay to say as I am fat. It's the truth. I was simply a little upset at first as I had liked the photo and it made me doubt my perception of myself. I have worked on my confidence a lot more and developed a different attitude to how I embrace my whole fatness thing now haha

It's frustrating and hurtful OP but just rise above it.

I was always pretty successful when I was younger, since coming on fab where your judged on a few selfies I find it's no longer the case. Lack of hair lol.

I'm articulate and imaginative in my texts but unfortunately I rarely get a chance to impress.

Don't take it all to heart as self pity (not suggesting you are) is even less attractive than my hair loss.

The more times you kick at goal, the more chance you've got of scoring.

3 times total or just today? The majority of us have had nasty and negative comments. I will sometimes ask them if they are OK (depending on how I’m feeling) and 10 times out of 10 they aren’t. Try not to take things personally. I know easier said than done at times.

The green arrow does not always work if the person is a prolific poster though... i had to search for the post but I knew I had seen it before..

May seem it as a children's playground. Many will just say anything so as to make themselves feel good, especially if turned down or filter restrictions prevent entitlement. It's not just ladies that get nasty messages.

She blocked you because you we re replying to forum posts by PM if I remember rightly, a very odd thing to do and I think against the site rules, certainly should be.

And no there isn't a crime, nor is it a crime to point out that you are saying exactly the same thing 7 weeks later as you did then. So those 3 nasty people are still the same 3. And nothing has happened in between. Hmmmm, odd isn't it.
