Depends on how competent you are

If you want affordable CPU go for AMD, or if you’re happy to spend a bit more go for Intel, they’re usually better.

Get a motherboard with the same chipset as the processor you pick though

Ok well then its budget.

I would advise though a new power supply if yours is more than 4yrs old.

Is it for games on line browsing or?

They are not the best go online either Ebuyer, cclonline or scan. CCLonline are my preferred but its price that also counts.

Scan is in Bolton and they have been around a while and a decent power supply is the safe choice. Good luck with what ever you pick.

Worthing

CPU -

Intel - i5 8400 or

AMD - Ryzen 1700

Motherboard - Ensure compatible with either of above.

Memory - 16gb DDR 4 Ram

Windows 10 - Download from Microsoft and buy licence key for around £10 from ebay (legal)

Read up on reviews. Good luck!
