Veris, show them or not? Do people like to read them and think, yep sounds good. Or does it put people off thinking, eh no way did they play with them.

I've loads but won't show anything grafic I don't see the need. I try to leave funny 1s if I can but I've a strange sence of humour sometimes so don't always go down well. Oops

I show all of ours bar one. A few have left the site so theirs have been deleted.

I always read peoples verifications and won't meet with those who don't have them shown.

I think a few Veris are a good thing. Shows you’re genuine I personally get put off by someone who has loads. It’s a fine balance!

I don't show mine because I find it a bit weird everyone knowing who I've interacted with. I don't go around displaying that in the real world so I'm not sure why I'd do it here.

Not showing them- it isn't anyone else's business? You can show your summary I suppose to prove your genuine if you feel you need to. Though I choose not to. If someone thinks I'm not genuine cause I don't display them then that's there opinion and that's fine too.

We like to see them, if hidden how do you know if the person/people are genuine? We also like to see who people have played with that message us, gives you an idea what they are looking for

You get a good idea they're genuine if they have verifications, hidden or not.

Showing them can cause way too much drama.

I show mine go a couple of days then hide them.

If someone thinks a profile with 50+ meet verifications isn't genuine theyre really not the sort of people I want to meet anyway.

Mine are mostly just from organised Socials, so I've no issues with displaying them. I don't think many read them anyway.

Case in point being one I received a couple of weeks ago which was a belated one from a lady I met at an event 4 months ago... I got a flurry of messages from men and couples over the next 24 hours who all assumed I'd had a play meet and were either asking me to meet them, or grumbling that I'd met someone after saying I wasn't meeting... Not one of them had bothered to read the veri itself.

As half of a couple I didn't encounter much in the line of possessiveness or jealousy. In fact the only bad experience was my former partner being outted to his family by someone we declined an invitation to play with (which is as bad as it gets really).

As a single though its been a completely different scenario, I got messages from other single women making sure I knew someone was their property, and have had guys I'd met get very possessive. Any new veri could trigger them.

It happens to guys too.. The phenomenon is not gender-specific. I've known a few people of both sexes who have left Fab because of the drama caused by one or two people of the opposite sex, or even couples they'd met or been in contact with.

I'll admit I'm guilty of the 'won't meet X because he/she has met Y' thing. I just wouldn't necessarily tell them that's the reason. If I've had drama from someone before because I met someone they had... Why would I want to repeat the experience by meeting someone else on their list? That's just self-preservation

I can't show all mine, half of them were deleted when the people concerned left the site.

Happy to show the summary, mainly to demonstrate that they aren't all cam/phone - based.

However, I did get a bit of a shock when I discovered that verifications from men at socials was making me appear non-hetero. Nothing I can do about others' lack of imagination though.

I feel for you then having to deal with that, didn't realise that kind of school playground behaviour went on in the adult world of sex. Surely a single can't own another single on here? And if someone is threatening you off meeting someone tell that person who wants to meet you of the other persons obsessive behaviour towards them.

I used to until I got abusive messages sent to every veri I had on a semi frequent basis so now I don't show them at all as I respect the people I've met privacy. If we could control the messages from people who sent vindictive messages and then delete their account I'd probably show them as although I've met some complete not very nice people on here I have also met some absolutely lovely ones I call friends too.
