Separate houses, separate finances and no drab routine or obligation.

I've been single for a long time now - and don't want to have a traditional relationship again.

But I don't want to have random hookups either- a lady wank is more satisfying and less effort

Don't have the necessary critria required for a "relationship", in the past it always irked me, that I was expected to finance the lifestyle of another bloke's offspring. ("We come as a package" ...groan).

These days when Women view (if they ever actually do) my profile/pics....they instantly think "not aimed at me" or "nope...severe lack of tattoos and beard").

Oddly enough, that was the plan when I was at school, but I wanted to join the submarine service and my eyesight deteriorated.

By the way, I'm 6'4 and mildly claustrophobic, so it's probably worked out for the best.

I’ve read through this thread and there’s a reoccurring theme. Those who don’t want to give up their independence, yet still be in a relationship. Distance is also being mentioned.

If you look at conventional (and societally imposed) relationships, then that makes it difficult. We are conditioned into thinking monogamy is the only answer.

With being poly, it is possible to have that independence, whilst also having relationships. They need not even be plural, if that’s what you want. They also need not be only 30 minutes away.

I’ve had some of the most loving relationships with those who retain their ,and celebrate my, independence. Distance can be frustrating. However, if all other things align, then distance is the least of my worries.

Maybe not undateable, but I haven't been able to find a woman on the same wavelength,with spark,fun and imagination,and not too serious.

I can't live with someone who isn't right just to avoid being on my own.
