Costumes..... What's your preference?

I'm currently making a sexy sea witch costume for Halloween. I quite like making costumes, getting creative.

Home made. All this flimsy crinkly crap you can buy is hateful. And looks a fire hazard, and always has itchy bits

Brighton - even Hove!

There’s an article in the news about cosplay and the top people who make them get paid in donations every month.

Store bought. The thought of even attempting to make one makes me want to cry.

Loving the (presumably home made) wispy outfit in your latest pic!

I try to always make mine as bought ones can be naff.

I feel I've done my kids proud when they are happy to wear them when all their friends will see them.

Does having them made by a lady who supplies cosplay people count as home made or shop bought?

Home made! Half the fun is in the making, there's nothing worse than 6 kids in the same shop bought outfit!

Good on you , that’s what memories are made of she’ll remember that once a lot older what you did . My Dad made me a shepherd’s hook & my mum made the out fit out of a bed sheet for a nativity play when I was in primary school
